This unit is part of the university’s MSc in Data Science. In this unit, students work in groups on real world data science problems posed by industry partners.
I worked as a teaching assistant on this unit for the first three years of my PhD. My responsibilities varied through the years but have usually required me to provide weekly support sessions to particular groups. I have most frequently assisted students working on problems with large datasets from stock markets, helping students to create profitable trading strategies.
